The Flower Gardens National Marine Sanctuary is located nearly 100 miles offshore. It is the northernmost coral reef in the United States and an absolute must dive. The Flower Gardens is made of the East and West Bank and Stetson Bank. Most of the marine life is found in depths of 55 to 130 feet. In fact, you will have the opportunity to see colorful sponges, sea plants, nearly 20 species of hard coral, smaller marine life such as gobies, an abundance of fish and on the right day even a whale shark or manta ray.
