Kristen Maples started her dive career 20 years ago but has been passionate about the underwater environment since she was a child. This passion led her to a career of working as a biologist. She has experience working in environmental toxicology labs, Fish and Wildlife populations studies, animal husbandry with a specialty in octopuses and sharks, and environmental education. Kristen joined the Texas Scuba Adventures Dive Team 5 years ago and fell in love with the programs they offer. She has worked with countless international high school students for a discover scuba/science program and assisted with the training of new and experienced divers. Her belief is that any day spent with someone underwater is a great day. Now, as co-owner, her and Craig have expanded Texas Scuba Adventures to bring it to Galveston and are excited about bringing this experience to the Galveston community and visitors.
