Rooms:
Our bungalows are generously dimensioned (40 m2) and built in the typical Balinese style with roofs thatched in alang-alang. The bungalows blend harmoniously into the landscape and are surrounded by plants and trees – so plenty of privacy is ensured. A comfortable lounger tempts you to linger and enjoy resting on the terrace. If you prefer, you can also sleep outdoors (ask us for a mosquito net).
The bathroom is at the back of the bungalow; WC and washbasin are roofed and the shower is in the open – showering in the open air is a wonderful sensation.
Dining:
Our restaurant isn't just a venue for guests to meet over breakfast and dinner. Throughout the day, they also gather here to swap stories, play games, sip coffee or just relax and read books. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 11 a.m. and dinner is available at 7:30 p.m. The kitchen is open continuously from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. – so when you're hungry from your afternoon dive, you can come back and order a tasty bowl of soup or another dish from our varied menu.
Our cuisine includes traditional Indonesian and Thai dishes as well as western fare. BBQs (meat or fish) and Indonesian buffets are also regular events. And of course, our menu caters to vegetarian and vegan preferences.
Spa:
The alamBatu spa is on a slight elevation just below our house temple, whose gods watch over our resort. The spa offers massages, baths, facial treatments, body peeling and body wraps with natural raw materials such as papaya, sea salt, coconut, coffee and various nuts. Open at the sides, the massage huts are located around a pool – so the gentle splashing of the water adds to the ambience of beauty and regeneration.
Tours:
The northern region of Bali has retained much of its quintessential fascination and has escaped the mass tourism that is all too familiar in the south of the island. It's worth taking an excursion to discover this region's spellbinding culture and scenery.
We offer various half- and full-day tours. On request, we offer Jeep tours lasting several days – a truly exceptional experience. You can also rent a scooter or bike from us to explore the island under your own steam. Another treat: a visit to the local market in Rubaya.

Diving
The underwater world in Bali offers a great variety of species. Located in the southwestern part of the coral triangle, the richness of the coral reefs is unique. More than 3.500 species have been discovered here. The Indonesian current is in charge of transporting plankton to the reefs around Bali. This very important current transports the water from the Pacific Ocean, via Java and Banda Sea, to the Indian Ocean. This optimal geographic situation guarantees the great diversity of fish, coral, and critters; including nudibranchs, rhinopias, ghost pipe fish, cowries, boxer crabs, mimic octopus, wonderpus and many more.
